Delivering HOPE
Christmas in July is a summer highlight.
This year's gifts featured Lego/Duplos plus fuzzy socks or a fidget toy. This photo is from our Mott July 22 delivery.
Who We Are
Our Roots
Jennifer Rice and her family became a part of the pediatric cancer community when her son was diagnosed with leukemia. We are happy to report that he is doing well. During his treatment, Jennifer noticed that few families experienced generous love and support through their child’s cancer journey. Sent With Love was created to actively demonstrate God’s love and fill the gap - including showing love to hurting siblings and parents.
Demonstrate God's Love
Sent With Love Volunteers prepare cards, care packages and gift bags to minister to Sent With Love Kids, their families, and their caregivers. Our focus is on pediatric cancer families receiving care from C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Volunteers donate their time from all around the country.
Faith
We pray for each and every Sent With Love Kid and their family members
Hope
We express love thru gifts and cards
Love
We write meaningful mail as we follow this Christian directive: "Do everything in love." 1 Corinthians 16:14
Deanna
AJ remembers us as the "nice lady" who sends us cards in the mail all the time. "AJ kept admiring the Hot Wheels Valentine. You totally know the way to his heart. When he asked me what his lizard's name is in the tag I said “Lizzy” he was like, “that’s funny because I was thinking it would be Lizzy the Lizard!”
Zoe
"Hi! I just checked my mail and I got a package from SWL. Thank you so much! I love the cat theme 🐾
This package came at the perfect time."
Tanya
"Thank you so much for always brightening Leah's day!"
We look forward to hearing from you. This ministry exists because of many working together to make it possible.
Mail With a Clear Purpose: Share Faith, Hope, and Love
