To share a bit of background: Kim and her son, Cas (pictured above with Dr. Paley), spent 18 years and endured 15 surgeries as Cas bravely faced CFD. Thanks to Dr. Paley and his incredible team, Cas now walks on his own two feet on the ground — a true miracle for which they are forever grateful.

When Kim heard my story about my son’s battle with leukemia and the mission that grew from it, she knew Sent With Love needed to be part of the Paley community. My son was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019 (and he’s doing great now!). During that time, the letters and small gifts we received from others reminded us we weren’t alone — and inspired me to start Sent With Love to bring that same encouragement to other families facing pediatric cancer and critical illnesses.

After Kim shared Cas’s story and the challenges Paley families often experience during long treatment journeys, our nonprofit leadership team unanimously agreed to extend Sent With Love to include families at the Paley Institute.

Now, this amazing organization is thrilled to send cards, letters, and care packages to your families — spreading hope, encouragement, and love when it’s needed most.
