This Week's Update

⭐ Meet Ethan Koch

If you've been part of Sent With Love for a bit, you might recognize Ethan. He started as a Warrior Kid in our program, and now he's a Junior Board Member, serving alongside his mom, Shelly, on the Sent With Love Board of Directors. He loves receiving cards and enjoys helping make Sent With Love even better for the families we serve by sharing ideas from a teen's perspective.

When he's not volunteering, you'll probably find him playing Minecraft, Fortnite, Sonic, VR games, or Pokémon, building with LEGO®, exploring science, or collecting rocks and gems. He's an animal lover (except for bugs! 🐞😂), and if you want to treat him, skip the candy and bring him strawberry Italian ice instead.

One of Ethan's biggest dreams is to train his dog, Lyla, as a therapy dog so they can visit children and adults who could use a little extra comfort and encouragement—just as he has experienced through Sent With Love. 💛

Ethan hit us with a memorable moment when KidsFest concluded in 2023. With a straight face, he humorously pointed out that the event was "too perfect." 😄

His "complaints"?

Dusty bean bags, no Aaron's Silly Putty, and clearly too few people. His playful critique made us laugh and reminded us to keep KidsFest fun.

After this year's KidsFest, we sought Ethan's official thoughts.

His take?

"The best KidsFest." ✨

He loved painting rocks, checking out the reptile exhibit, and hanging with the therapy dogs. He also praised our new venue at 2|42 Community Church, calling it ideal for Warrior Families to explore, play, and create memories.

But every great review needs a suggestion...

Ethan thinks KidsFest could use "10–20 more people." 😄

We'd love that, too.

We hope even more families facing pediatric cancer and other challenges find Sent With Love and join us for a day of laughter, creativity, connection, and encouragement. Share our content to help us get the word out about KidsFest and us.

Thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, donors, and community partners who made this year's KidsFest special. Because of your generosity, Ethan—and many other Warrior Families—left with smiles, happy memories, and excitement for next year.

Everything We Do Is Possible Because Of Friends Like You Who Believe In Love, Encouragement, And Community. Thank You For Being Part Of The Sent With Love Family!
